I like the idea of going after top organic results. Three word phrases may be used by people that are transitioning from the 'research information' phase and getting closer to the 'buying' phase which could convert better than two word phrases. Good for those who want to follow your plan and get that top organic spot.

Hi Richard, It's always exciting to see a high ranking for a page or a post you've made… good on you. The other piece of your research equation is to find long-tail terms that also get demonstrated traffic.

The Google Keyword tool is great for that, and shows the term you have targeted in this post to get no traffic at all.

have you found any traffic reported from Google against this exact phrase reported in your Analytics?
